This dress by Motel caught my eye for sure.  I love the simplicity of the dress, yet the edginess of the chain they added with the low cleavage.  This is definitely a dress anyone would look hot wearing to ring in the new year.  The gold chain is really what makes this dress.  Add some hot strappy shoes or booties with a few gold bracelets and a leather jacket and you will be the talk of the town.

Radii (ray-dee-eye) Footwear is a new line of shoes that was introduced a little over a year ago and they are slowly making a massive impact in the shoe world.  Radii’s founders came from a long illustrious career in retail, which is probably why they are becoming some of the hottest shoes around town!  A lot of celebrities have been sporting them around town..such as Jay-Z, Jay Sean, and Usher.  I just bought my hubby a pair also and he said the cushioning and fit is probably one of the most comfiest pair of shoes he owns.

I am still going through my whole rawkstar phase, where I love anything and everything rawk.  Needless to say, I have been noticing all of these old school rawk t-shirts catching on in the fashion world, but I still can not justify spending$200 on a band tee even if I love them.  That is when I stumbled upon Trunk LTD’s collection on Bluefly (discount online site) and was on cloud nine with their shirts and their prices.  So, if you too are going through a rawkstar phase, you should pick up one of these.  They look amazingly hot paired with skinny jeans or leggings, casual or for going out.

L.A.M.B has entered into a new realm of design.  No longer just designing clothes, shoes, handbags and wallets.  Gwen Stefani is now trying her hand at electronic bags.  She is introducing at line of laptop sleeves, camera holders and even iPhone/iPod holders.  The designs are amazing and gorgeous as ever.  Granted, things haven’t changed and you will have to be willing to pay a pretty penny for these items.  All items will be priced from $85 to $250.  $250 being the price for the laptop sleeves.  A bit much if you ask me, but they sure are beautiful designs and nice to look at.

All items should be hitting the shelves shortly since they are apart of her L.A.M.B. Holiday Collection 2009.

So many times I like to tell you all about things I find, but never actually give you a review of the product. This time I decided to actually review the patent pump above from Forever 21 for all of you.

For anyone that knows me or has seen my closet, you know that I am definitely a shoe connoisseur.  I typically don’t buy “cheap” shoes, however, Forever 21 has been the exception.  This is now my 3rd Forever 21 shoe that I have purchase and could not be any more happy.  You would think finding a simple round toed pump with a platform and ankle strap would be easy, but it isn’t.  Well, unless you wanted to drop a half grand for a pair, which I was not willing to do for such a simple shoe.  I stumbled upon these on Forever 21’s website and was shocked to see it say 5″ heel.  I thought for sure it was a typo, but sure if enough after receiving them in the mail, I was amazed that they truly were 5 ” heels!  Not only was the heel height amazing, but the quality in general was pretty nice. The patent leather makes it easier to play off leather better than the matte faux leather.  The shoe fits perfectly and with the platform, it makes it very comfortable to walk in.  The only part of the shoe I don’t like is the lack of cushion, but then again what do you expect in a $22 heel?  Anywho, I definitely love this shoe and the best news is, it looks like most Forever 21 shoes are now 5″ high.

As of recently, I visited a salon called Matthew Tully in uptown Dallas and they definitely had some of the best hair dressers around.  Although, they were unable to take the black out of my hair, they did teach me a few different hair tricks after I told them I had grown bored of my hair.  I have always been known for my hair, so it’s been hard as of late with my hair being so “normal” and “bland”. One of the tricks they taught me was how to have that “beach wavy” hair.  I have always wanted to do that to my hair, but didn’t know how.  I love waves and slight curls in my hair making it a bit disheveled, but I don’t like tight curls.

Anywho, he gave me this product Sebastian Microweb Fiber and then proceeded to show me how to use it.  While your hair is still wet, rub some of this product in it, then blowdry your hair while twisting strands of hair around your finger.  Trust me, it looks amazing and I have probably done it for the past 4 out of 5 days since learning it.  It may be the ONE thing that keeps me from cutting my hair, but we will just see about that.

Another trend you may see on the rise is chains attached to shirts and shoes.  For some reason, I don’t really care for the chains attached to shirts and dresses, but don’t mind the shoes.  I guess I would rather pile my own necklaces onto my outfit instead of having it pre-done.  Either way you will notice that this is a trend that is catching up fast.

The latest trend to hit the streets is “band uniform” wear.  It seems as though this winter, we will be seeing a lot of band and military inspired fashion.  I know that a lot of this fashion is also inspired by the late Michael Jackson.  I will candidly admit I do not like all the blazers I am seeing, but I did actually like the “majorette” boots above.  I went as far as ordering them, but wasn’t impressed with them physically on, so they were returned.  I haven’t quite been able to figure out my feelings on this trend yet.  There are a few things I like and then there are a few I loathe.  I do,however, like all the military inspired pieces.

I love this clutch.  Well technically, Rebecca Minkoff has it listed as a handbag but I just can’t see it as a handbag.  I do think it would be incredibly hot as a clutch, although it is a bit pricey.  Either way, it definitely gets two thumbs up from me.
